This layout is based on a replication of the area around Hastings, Nebraska. The Hastings area is relatively flat which is how the layout was planned. I did a lot of research as to how to develop it and decided to be as detailed as possible. There are 6 areas on the layout, a business area, residential, small railyard, a grain facility built from scratch with a corn field, a farm and a small commercial area. The majority of the layout has lighting, with street lights and building lights. The size of the layout is roughly 12’ x 8’ with one side at an angle to reduce to 4’. Track is PECO with approximately 48’. SceniKing backdrop. Have Locomotives with sound.
